Free 12 weeks English Course
If you are a Resident, Citizen or a Partner of a New Zealander work/visitor visa, living in New Zealand, you can study with us for FREE.
Study 12 weeks of English for FREE with Southern Lakes English College towards employment or further studies in New Zealand.
Available on Queenstown and Invercargill Campus (face to face) or ONLINE (New-Onshore).
Eligibility
You can apply for this programme if you hold one of the following visas or status:

New Zealand Resident or Citizen

Partner of a New Zealander work visa.

Partner of a New Zealander visitor visa.

Child of a New Zealander visitor visa.
Terms and Conditions

12 weeks of Free English Tuition at Southern Lakes English College.

Available in both our campuses: Queenstown and Invercargill.

16 years of age or over and not a full-time secondary school student.

Classes start every Monday. Current SLEC Timetable is listed below.

Once the 12-week course starts, the student must finish the course. If the student does not finish the 12-week course, he/she will not be able to start again or study the remaining weeks later.

Attendance will be recorded and a minimum of 95% will be required.
