We are currently seeking an experienced executive, with extensive management and financial experience, to be our Managing Director and take responsibility for the budgeting, financial strategy, strategic leadership, marketing and compliance of academic, financial, health and safety and other relevant legislative compliance. The Managing Director must be interested in becoming acknowledged within the local, domestic and international markets as the face of the organisation and must also have a high level of enthusiasm to maintain the College’s EER category 1 status, which is the highest possible classification.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three to five years’ experience at a senior management level within a tertiary education provider or ownership of a medium sized business, with the ability to support and encourage staff in a fast-paced environment.
SLEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Institute of Technology with campuses in both Queenstown and Invercargill. Accordingly, this role may be domiciled in either location.
